We rehearse in Acrefair School Hall, just off the A539 between Ruabon and Llangollen on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. If you would like to visit us to see if the choir would interest you, please come along on any of our practice evenings or contact us to arrange a visit.

Prospective members of the Choir usually "come along" for a couple of weeks, sitting either in the body of the Choir or listening at the back, so that they can decide if they really want to join us. Once they decide that they do, our Conductor will listen to their voice during a formal voice test to see if it is acceptable, or has potential, and which section of the Choir that they should be in. Assuming all is well they become probationary members and attend rehearsals and functions of the Choir. Our Conductor will keep them under review until it is decided that the time is right to join the Choir as a full member and that decision is approved by the Committee. Members are expected to achieve a 75% attendance at rehearsals and concerts (this is reduced to 50% for shift workers). Full members are supplied with all the necessary uniforms and pay £50 towards the cost. Our annual subscription is £50.
