Membership of the Choir is open to all who can hold a tune and can attend rehearsals on Monday and Thursday evenings. There are four sections in the Choir. First Tenors, Second Tenors, First Bass (Baritones) and Second Bass (Bottom Bass). Prospective members of the Choir join as probationary members and attend all Choir functions and rehearsals until they are sufficiently proficient in the current repertoire that they can become full members and appear "on stage" in concert.
The Choir is run by a Committee of the Members elected at the Annual General Meeting at which the Conductor, a Choir President and Vice Presidents are also appointed. In addition, there are non-committee administrative jobs, to do with the day to day running of the Choir, that are filled by both Members and non-Members.
